Seasons

You know the saying “Seasons come and go”? I find it interesting how every year, I have this unexplained feeling associated with each season that begins and ends the same way. I wonder if everyone just experiences the same nostalgia at the start of every season based on whatever feeling they felt all the way back to whenever. I’ve always thought of summer as everyone’s favorite season, but I have no real way of knowing if that’s the case. In my head, it’s my favorite season, because of summer break. That’s it really. There’s no other real explanation for why I like it more than any other season.

On the other hand, winter has always been a season associated with discomfort and harshness. Again, this might just be common sense to some and I might be overthinking it, but does anyone really like winter? I suppose there is an angle for liking winter based entirely on the fashion possibilities of layering and all that.

As for spring and fall, they feel like essentially the same season, but as catalysts for two wholly different things. Fall quite literally signals the end of warmth. Spring is the beginning of my favorite time of the year. For that reason, I rate spring as my second favorite season right next to summer, as it should be.

Thanks for tuning in y’all,

Henry
